ANBI

The Dutch Tax Administration considers Stichting Marni Foundation as a charity organization (ANBI) since its creation in January 2011. Donate money to Marni Foundation is thus not only fiscally advantageous for donors, but also for Marni Foundation itself. Donations are under this scheme deductible for income tax and stichting Marni Foundation doesn't have to pay gift tax. As a result, the effectiveness of the donations increased. Mission

Our mission is to provide quality education and a better future to the underprivileged children in rural and urban districts of India. We achieve this to give the possibility to pupils to develop into self-assured and social human beings with respect for one another as well as the Indian culture.

 

Our four programs:

  • Quality education from nursery to matriculation.
  • Vocational skill training for school children and local women
  • Improve quality of teaching through international volunteer tutors
  • Medical / food / hygiene assistance for students and teachers

 

Management costs

The board, composed of G.F. Zweerts (President), ir. J.B.B. Zweerts (Secretary) and drs. P.P.M. Boerma (Treasurer), receives no compensation. The foundation has no staff.
